The youngest was 8 years old. We opted to go with a private charter for the aviation and I can't recommend that highly enough, if it's a possibility. We had a large group and it just helped us utilize our time to the fullest...the plane is just ready to go, no waiting! It was especially appreciated after such a long trip; our journey to Cape Town from the States was 22 hours.
