Our Family's Safari Expedition
We'd always wanted to take a trip to Africa, but thought we would wait until our youngest son (who was seven at the time) was a little older. We contacted two luxury tour operators. Both of them said “no” because we had a short planning window and there's limited availability on safaris for children. I was talking with our Quintess Member Relations Manager and asked for recommendations and she said: “Where do you want to go?” We planned a trip to Botswana and South Africa. The logistics were just amazing.
My Family’s Africa Adventure, by Surinder Tayebi
Our trip to Botswana and South Africa this June was just incredible. We traveled with our three children (age 8, 13 and 14) and our brother’s family with their three (age 9, 13 and 22). We had a large group and it just helped us utilize our time to the fullest...the plane is just ready to go, no waiting! It was especially appreciated after such a long trip; our journey to Cape Town from the States was 22 hours.
