The Destination
An Italian island off the Sorrentine Peninsula, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples, Capri’s exquisite beauty and secluded corners have attracted intellectuals, artists and writers for centuries. With the opening of the Quisisana, royal families, aristocrats and politicians began to arrive. Today Italians and international jet setters alike visit Capri (for the day or for the month, especially during the summer season) as the island is perceived as the ideal haven to contemplate the rolling waves and revel in the modern luxuries.
