Verdi Trails West Squaw Valley
Verdi Trails West offers sleigh rides through the Squaw Valley Meadow. Guests ride in handcrafted horse-drawn open sleighs that can accommodate groups of two-to-nine.
Wilderness Adventures — Squaw Valley
Wilderness Adventures offers a 2.5 mile dog sledding tour through the scenic Squaw Valley Meadow. A team of eight-to-ten Alaskan Huskies is lead by an experienced race guide.
Commons Beach
This four-plus-acre park is located on the Lake in downtown Tahoe City. Commons Beach Park is popular for sunbathing, swimming and picnicking. Group picnic sites and children’s playgrounds are located within a large lakefront grass and sand area.
This time we brought another family with kids, too, and the home is so great, accommodating everyone easily. There was something for everyone to do from skiing to baking Christmas cookies. We had a lovely holiday dinner and enjoyed being together just before the holidays.
