“The attention to detail and service was spectacular. Carmen cooked breakfast every morning and took care of the kids from time to time, which was very sweet. Everything was very authentic; the food, the atmosphere of the home. Everyone had a wonderful time. I took the kids swimming with the dolphins. It was amazing for them; a bit scary for me, but we all had a great time. The kids just loved climbing on the dolphin’s back and being brought around the huge aquarium pool.”

“My wife and I brought three other couples on a vacation to one of the Casitas in Los Cabos. Ladonna, the Host, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Club Ninety Six is perfect and the golf was great. It was our fourth time there and we’ll definitely be back! It is hard to exceed expectations when we have come to expect so much! We now say we travel the ‘Quintess Way’.”

“My wife surprised me for my birthday with a celebration in Los Cabos. We reserved two homes right next to each other and brought seven other couples. The services were amazing: we had private chefs, masseuses and even brought in a ping pong table. The activities were also amazing: we played golf and went to different restaurants. Everything literally came off perfect from the margaritas with salsa, guacamole and chips, to the AV system playing our favorite music. It is so nice to have a party at a Quintess, LRW property especially when you bring in a chef…you don’t have to worry about any of the details and it always creates the best memories.

Once, we brought our kids and their friends on a trip to Los Cabos. We knew they wanted to go out on the town and party, so we rented a Suburban and driver. The driver brought them around, waited where they were, and eventually brought them back to the house at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. It was wonderful for us because we knew there was someone watching out for them, that they were safe and having a relatively controlled night.”

“We just got back from Casa Arrecifes. The house and everything there is fabulous. The experience of being there together as a family was fantastic. Our kids played in the tide pools; Kristin, our Member Travel Advisor, set up an ATV trip into the desert where we drove up very high in the mountains, made lots of tight turns and had a view of the ocean; and we chartered a deep sea fishing boat, though we ended up watching the dolphins and sharks swimming around instead of fishing. What was so wonderful was being picked up at the airport and brought back to an air-conditioned property. The Destination Host met us at the home, introduced us to Rosa Maria, who was there to help with anything, and showed us how to operate everything. The greeting and assistance, to me, is where the real value is. Rosa Maria set up a deli buffet in the afternoons with all the condiments and made a salad. That was a great time saver, along with having the dishes done.”

“We stayed at two phenomenal homes: one of the Casitas, which we loved because of the resort access and ease; and Casa Arrefices, which was a rock star home on a more secluded beach. We took three other couples and had a fantastic time. The whole experience was absolutely terrific. It is an easy, two-and-a-half-hour flight from Denver to Los Cabos and the weather was just right; we had eight days of 92 degree weather with a perfect breeze the whole time. What I love about Quintess, LRW versus a high-end hotel is the feeling that the entire home is yours—you feel like you have ownership and can just do whatever you want, which is especially nice when you’re entertaining. We had a number of other friends staying at a nearby property and hosted a party at the house. We had a catered, five-star lunch with drinks and more, but the best thing was that all the heavy lifting and hard work was done for us. The only thing my wife and I had to do as hosts was make sure all our guests were enjoying themselves and lounge by the pool. In the past, I thought a destination club was an expensive way to travel, but after going through the experience just once, you see that you would never get the same value at a hotel, even a high-end one. Plus, it is easier than attempting to buy a home in Los Cabos. I love the uniqueness with Quintess, LRW of going to one location and staying in two different homes; it makes the experience continually fresh. Our Destination Hosts were great. They checked in on us to see if we needed anything, changed restaurant reservations and booked activities for us. The first full day we were there four masseuses came over and all the women received river rock massages and pedicures. My brother-in-law went swimming with dolphins, which is one of his lifetime goals that he can now cross off his list. All of our friends knew each other before the trip, but traveling like this is such a great bonding experience. One friend said this was the first vacation he’d been on that he didn’t want to leave. They all felt this was a once-in-a-lifetime trip.”

“When I took my girlfriends to Los Cabos last September, we stayed in Casa de la Playa. When we were led on a tour by Ambrosio, our Destination Host, the first bedroom we came to is actually one of the secondary bedrooms. It is very nice, with a beautiful bathroom attached. One of my girlfriends peeked in and said: “This must be the master bedroom, Sharon, so you can have this.” Ambrosio and I just looked at each other and laughed. Although I had never been there, I KNEW that it wasn’t the master bedroom!! And when we did get to the master bedroom, my girlfriends were totally blown away. It was pretty funny.”

“We travel so often that we don’t always get time to spend with our friends from home. We love Quintess, LRW because it gives us a way of catching up with those friends. Everyone enjoyed the trip to Los Cabos (Casa de la Playa) so much that we already booked it next year for the same group of friends, but next year we’re staying in one of the Casitas. The guys got together, played golf three days and went fishing on a private charter boat. The women sat by the pool, read books and caught-up with each other. We had some elegant dinners together at Esperanza, One&Only and Edith’s down by the beach. One night we had a Mexican buffet at the house; it was causal, low-key and just marvelous.”

“Joining Quintess, LRW has been one of the best decisions we have made. We joined because we were uncomfortable renting homes we hadn’t seen before and using our vacation time just to risk being disappointed – after all, anything can look good on the Internet! Quintess, LRW gives us the comfort of knowing that every property is going to be great and that the experience from beginning to end will be one to remember. On our very first trip we stayed at a property in Los Cabos. When we were walking through the home and saw our photo had been inserted into the picture frames around the house, we knew we were home…”

“We had a wonderful trip to Los Cabos. Everything lived up to our expectations. Primera Luz is just beautiful, and it’s so nice to have three bedrooms with king beds and such nice baths. Ambrosio and Carmen, the Destination Hosts, were just excellent. All of the planned activities went smoothly and were lots of fun. And the beds and pillows are so comfortable. When our guests commented on them, I told them all the houses have them so getting a good night sleep is never in question.”

“My wife and I went to Los Cabos with our three children and a guest. The kids all loved it and the house accommodated a large family nicely. Our housekeeper brought fresh groceries and prepared breakfast for us everyday, so we all got up between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. and she would have this feast waiting for us. It was super luxurious. A private chef came to the house for dinner, which was so awesome. The six of us took a private sail boat out one day and on our last day rented a private fishing charter. We caught three marlins, which we released, and two mahi mahi, which we gave to the crew since we were going home that night.”

“My husband doesn’t like to pre-plan. He likes to get to the property first, get a lay of the land, talk to the Host and then go where the locals go. We wait until the last minute to plan but always have a great experience. When we went to Los Cabos with friends we wanted to go deep-sea fishing and our Host worked with him to get us on a charter boat. We caught two marlins; one we let go and the other got cut up and divided among the locals at the dock.

Sunshine, our Member Travel Advisor, does a fabulous job recommending restaurants, such as Agua at the One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos. It is a phenomenal restaurant. We went for my birthday and the sunset was wonderful.”
