“My wife Lisa and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in Hawaii. She surprised me with a romantic evening, which she arranged without my knowledge with the help of our Host. Lisa took me for a sunset walk on the beach that lead to a private table set with a white linen table cloth, silver, flowers, candles and wine; she thought of absolutely everything. There was a walkway of rose petals leading to the table and when we sat, Mike, our chef, came over and asked how we wanted out steak prepared. We sat there until 10:30. It was amazing.”

“We went deep sea fishing and the kids caught seven Nebeta. They are a Hawaiian delicacy rarely found in markets because they are widely loved and get snatched up so quickly. We brought them back to the home, cooked them up and really enjoyed the treat!”

“We got married on Maui so have spent many of the past 11 Thanksgivings there. We used to have a membership to the Grand Wailea, but after staying at the Club’s Loa’s Lani property, we sold it back — we only want to stay in that house. We didn’t even go out for dinner after the second night — we just wanted to eat in and enjoy the view. On our second trip to Maui, the Host knew I loved organic, exotic fruit and had pounds of it waiting at the home. The housekeeper also remembered us and brought trays of tea and crackers when we were by the pool. It’s the thing we don’t think about or ask for but still gets done that really brings the experience up a notch. Once when we got there and realized we forgot our son’s sandals, the Host asked his size and brought a pair right over. It was a definitive moment in realizing we made the right decision to join! She also had Mai Tais and juice drinks waiting, flowers and leis, and a rolling cart for the luggage; her attention just made the experience. Another time, after our barbecue we started to play poker with our friends and realized the wrong playing cards were in the house. We called our Member Travel Advisor and she had two decks of cards at the home within ten minutes. Yet another time, Loan’s sister’s fiancĂ©e asked us to help with the engagement plans, so we gave him the house for the weekend. The Host helped set up the blanket and Champagne on the beach and hid in the bushes taking pictures of the proposal. It was the first Quintess, LRW engagement!”

“We gave our son-in-law a trip to Maui for his 40th birthday, an extra-special gift to celebrate what we call ‘birthdays-on-the-fives.’ They took another couple as well and enjoyed the waterfalls, boat rides and the Road to Hana.”

“When we stayed on Maui, we went on a bike ride across Haleakala Crater and my youngest daughter got stung by a bee. The sting ended up getting infected and inflamed, so we went to have it looked at. We ended up at a nearby clinic with a four-hour wait. When my wife called the Host, she immediately called a doctor on the other side of the island, made an appointment and asked him to wait after-hours for us, gave us perfect driving directions, and basically walked us through the whole process.”

“On Maui, the Loa’s Lani residence was also very comfortable. The location was ideal — close to shopping much to our husbands’ dismay. We all loved the adult pool and only had to share it with a few other people. We had wonderful dinners at Longi’s, Cafe O’lai (outstanding), and Joe’s; and wonderful lunches at Mama’s and the Hali’imaili General Store. This time the two bikers rode from Wailea to Lahania; the Aloha restaurant in Lahania was very good as well, both the plate special and the deserts. Our favorite restaurant is Pacific’O — again we were not disappointed. And our Hostess at each home was wonderful and very knowledge about the area.”

“We just returned from a family trip to Maui and stayed at the Quintess, LRW Loa’s Lani property. It was the best family vacation we have ever experienced! Emily, our Member Travel Advisor, gave us the heads-up on a cancellation so we scooped it up! We never would have gone if it had not been for her. Our Destination Host was phenomenal; extremely attentive to all of our needs. The 3,000-square-foot property was plenty roomy for our family of four. There was ample space for our six- and nine-year-olds to play while my husband and I relaxed. Probably the best part of our Quintess, LRW experience was the fact that not only were we steps to a beautiful beach, we were steps away from the Grand Wailea Hotel. We were able to participate in the full amenities that the hotel offers. The pool was amazing and afforded us hours of entertainment! And then, knowing that we could leave the hotel and return to our beautiful, peaceful property with ocean views made the trip complete. Every experience we have had with Quintess, LRW has been a home run. What a fantastic investment we have made for our family!”
