“We’ve been looking forward to hosting a Mastering the Art of Mixology event at our home in Atlanta for some time, as we have several friends and acquaintances who love to travel and who we thought would be a great fit for The Quintess Collection. When the event finally arrived, it was worth the wait. Randy Layman, our head mixologist, kept our group captivated with his delicious concoctions, while the Country Club of the South provided scrumptious food pairings to accompany the cocktails. Our terrace level with bar and viewing room turned out to be the perfect stage for the demonstrations and explanations. Once it was time for the contest, all bets were off! Guests immediately began to plot their cocktails and gather their ingredients, and within 45 minutes several winners were announced. Each of our guests (even those who were not winners) departed in high spirits, with a gourmet mixology gift and a new appreciation for The Quintess Collection. Tony Notargiacomo, SVP of Membership Development, joked that everyone was having so much fun that next time Quintess was in town, they would have to rent a golf cart and drive from house to house so that the party could follow them wherever they went.”
