Intellectuals have been coming to the Latin Quarter since medieval times, artists come here for inspiration, chefs come for a culinary tradition, designers for Haute Couture, and now you’ll come to Paris because it’s home. You’ll spend an entire day just trying to explore the nooks and crannies of the Louvre, and your kids will love the brightly colored Centre Pompidou. Take a boat ride through the heart of the city on a Bateau Mouche or spend an afternoon at the Jardin des Enfants des Halles, a park reserved just for kids. Whether you make it here for the flowers along the Champs Elysees in the springtime, bundle up under a freshly fallen snow or cool off along the waterfront at the Canal St-Martin, there is no place quite like Paris.

Staying in Paris

We took another couple to Paris for a vacation at Avenue d´Iena. The lobby and apartment were quite nice. The availability of English language television channels was a nice treat and the local cell phone was a plus. I liked the hydraulically-operated window awnings, which helped keep the apartment cool. The property could not have been in a better location, especially with the view of Eiffel Tower and the Bastille Day fireworks.
