I went to Scotland for a guys trip. I am really not a golfer, but we had the most fabulous time at Gleneagles. The local Hosts are terrific. It is a bit of a trip to St. Andrews, and from there, to Anstruther for dinner at The Cellar, however, they have terrific seafood! The ride back was a bit of white-knuckles-in-the-rain and on the other side of the road, too. The golf courses are incredibly merciful and forgiving…NOT! Nevertheless, I got my one birdie and even had an eagle putt. The home is fine, but not really at Quintess’ level; best to know that in advance so as not to have errant expectations.
