“We could not have asked for a better Host than Linda. She is the gold standard: always accessible, never intrusive, intuitive, etc. Pelican Heaven is pretty remote, which is much more of an asset than detraction. The home was fabulous and in line with my high expectations for Quintess, LRW. This is a true showplace: beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and with fabulous views. Having the bedrooms separated as they were (needing to go outside to reach them) was initially disconcerting to Yvonne but was all OK by the end of the stay. We particularly appreciated the nice new washing machine and two dryers – we could have packed much lighter than we did. We also liked having two big baskets full of rolled up beach towels and masks, snorkels and beach chairs in the garage. Magen’s Bay is a great beach very close to the house. We made a couple of trips over to St. John’s on the ferry. Quintess, LRW has really been revolutionary to our vacation planning. We now get our trips planned well in advance with the great assistance of our Member Travel Advisor, Kristi. The range of choices is nice because while they are all appealing, they are limited. This factor cuts our trip research time to practically nothing. The quality of the houses and maintenance standards are very high. Overall, we are totally impressed with the business concept of Quintess, LRW and continue to marvel at how this organization meets our family’s vision of what a memorable vacation is all about..”

“We just got back from our first family vacation to St. Thomas. We loved the Pelican Heaven property. It definitely met our expectations: the interior designer’s work is wonderful and we love the consistency of the A/V system from property to property. The reggae music set a great mood every day. A+ for Christi, our Member Travel Advisor, who did lots of pre-trip planning for us. We loved our trip to St. John’s Trunk Bay. The girls loved the submarine ride. Tim and I greatly appreciated having Shelly, a private chef, come in to cook for us the first night of our arrival. All four of us appreciated having our driver, Sing, get us home safely after every adventure. Linda is the ‘Quintessential Host.’ She made us feel instantly welcome. She went above and beyond the call of duty numerous times, e.g. looking after our girls while we got a massage at The Ritz; packing frozen peas and peanuts, so we could feed the fish when snorkeling; and standing in line to get tickets to the new Harry Potter movie while we ate a quick pizza next door. Outstanding! A+, as well! She made our first visit to St. Thomas such a memorable one. With Hosts like Linda and properties like Pelican Heaven, we will definitely remain members of Quintess, LRW.”

“Linda, our Host, was absolutely fabulous, by far the best Host we’ve had. She is just wonderful, very personable, makes you feel so welcome, and is always on top of everything. She makes you feel like her best friend and is genuinely interested in you and providing the best experience. As an example, we were staying at Pelican Heaven but were interested in knowing more about Villa Viento, so Linda took us on a walk up to the property, introduced us to the workers and showed us around. Another example, we mentioned that years ago we had an amazing cocktail during a trip to the islands; the next day she had a book of Caribbean concoctions on the coffee table. Her attention to detail is amazing; five stars!”

We brought five additional friends; everyone was comfortable and the home was fantastic! Linda, our Host, was amazing and attended to our every need and request, recommending several great restaurants, grocery shopping every day and helping arrange a private chef one night. We all enjoyed the entire trip and are looking forward to our next stay in Los Cabos Thanksgiving week. Also, when our rental car broke down and we were stuck on the road, she came out to get us and insisted on giving us her car to use for the rest of the time there. She really makes everything super.”

“Our St. Thomas Host, Linda, set us up on an awesome private boat trip. The boat, named Posh, was exceptional, amazingly clean and had a very attentive crew. It was large enough to carry six passengers though for this trip, which was from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., it was just my wife and me, along with the captain and first mate. Because of my interactions with the captain, the whole day was tailored exactly to what we wanted. We sailed around the U.S. Virgin Island waters and over to St. John’s. I am a fan of country singer, Kenny Chesney, who has a home there and a song, Old Blue Chair, that goes, ’...caught a few fish and some rays and watched boats sail in and out of Cinnamon Bay…’ so we sailed in and out of the Bay so I could see the area. The crew called us ahead of time to plan a menu; chicken and fish tacos for lunch with home made key lime pie and plenty of beverages. We went snorkeling and the first mate got in the water with us to take pictures. It was very low-key and just what we wanted. Did I mention lots of home made key lime pie?”
