The Destination

Nicknamed Ski Town, USA for sending more athletes to the Winter Olympics than any other town in the nation, Steamboat boasts exciting year round outdoor activities. Known equally as a ski town and a ranching center, cowboy hats are seen just as much as skis. Steamboat is a very friendly, down-home town, with a bustling downtown area filled with boutiques, spas and numerous restaurants. Whether visiting in winter to ski in the champagne powder snow or visiting in summer to enjoy hiking, rafting or horseback riding, Steamboat has something to entertain everyone in the family.

Staying in Steamboat

Fishing
They say that what goes up must come down. Up here in the mountains, it’s that high mountain snow that melts and runs down into the pristine mountain streams below.

Golf
Eagles. Birdies. In Steamboat, you’ll be pleased to find both the wildlife and the low scores populating the two world-class golf courses here in town.

Hiking
Steamboat would be worth the trip just to experience the town itself. But to make the most of your time in the High Country, you’ll want to get outside.

The Lynx was amazing. Wendy, our Host, was awesome…we loved her! She is a great addition to the Quintess, LRW team! We can’t wait to go back to Steamboat Springs.
