Mountain Village is an easy and scenic gondola-ride over the peak from the town of Telluride. This unique transportation experience is a must-do activity all its own. With a loft and little hideaways, a game room with pool table and study with card table, Tomboy Mine is a great place for the kids to just hang out while the adults gather to enjoy the fireplaces, private patios and simplicity of the surrounds.

There are different options for ski access from the home. We recommend using the Dial-a-Ride, complimentary shuttle, which is a five minute drive from the home to the Blue Mesa building drop-off in the plaza. There is generally a fifteen minute wait from when you call the shuttle to when it arrives, so call with as much lead time as possible during peak season as the wait may be longer then. If you prefer to not use the shuttle, the home is ski-out for intermediate skiers and ski-in for more advanced skiers. To ski-out, you must side-step and ski over an ungroomed path for about one-third of a mile. This takes you to the Big Billy’s ski area. To ski-in, you must ski through the flatter, Meadow’s ski area and then along uphill, ungroomed paths for about one-third of a mile.
