“We loved the trip to Tomboy Mine. We brought friends with us, which will be the norm for most of our future travels, and having all that space for the four kids was really nice. We skied and went snowmobiling, but what was wonderful was being in the home, cooking dinner together and just relaxing.”

“The first time we went to Telluride Tomboy Mine we brought our two oldest kids and my best friend with her three kids. The house is so huge you don’t feel cramped or crowded. It is so nice to just be there and be cozy. The loft and little hideaways are great for the kids to just hang out. They love all the movies and games. We took one day off from skiing to go sledding, but the rest of the days Judy, the Host, arranged for a ski instructor to come to the house for the kids. Judy also arranged for a private chef to come to the house one night. The dinner was phenomenal, though everyone’s favorite was the dessert — chocolate chip cookies with ice cream and fudge. That was the best.

The second time I went I brought two girlfriends for a getaway. I liked the Chef from my first visit so much that we had him come again and then went out to this great Japanese place one night and a Mexican restaurant the next. To have time with your girlfriends is just the best and it’s nice to just relax, to ski when you want and do what you want the rest of the time. We took it easy, read our books, drank wine by the fire and talked. It was terrific.”

“I ran into a friend of mine while we were in Telluride. He had his family in a couple of hotel rooms. They were paying in one week what we pay for four weeks as Quintess, LRW Member.”

“We went to Telluride in October when it was quiet and just fell in love. We drove the back-way to Durango to see the beautiful country scenes and spent another day driving to a different ski area just to check it out, again a beautiful drive.”
