The Destination
The island of Koh Samui sits in the Gulf of Thailand. Dotted with palm trees from long-gone plantations, the island has a true tropical feel. Koh Samui is the third largest island in Thailand and has a 55-kilometer-long road that circles the exterior, perfect for scenic outings in a hired car or a chauffeured 4×4 driving adventure. Waterfalls, jungle treks and secluded beaches are some of the charms of this sultry jewel. Five minutes south of Karma Samui is Chaweng Beach—a three-kilometer-long strip off the island’s ring road that is lined with shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. During the day you can shop for traditional Thai artifacts at the local markets or look for bargains among the branded outlets, many of which carry designer products manufactured in Thailand. In the evening the town comes alive with every form of entertainment from Thai dancers to contemporary nightclubs and chic restaurants. From October through December occasional rains can be encountered, but for most of the year, the weather befits a balmy tropical paradise.

Stay in a three or four bedroom residences with private pool. The pool residences are arranged in five terraces, which create an atmosphere with commanding ocean views of the Gulf of Thailand as they cascade down to the radiant blue waters of the sea.

Depending on availability, and for an additional charge, you may be able to increase the number of guests traveling with you, receive a room upgrade, or increase the number of nights you are staying at the hotel.
