The Destination

Les Trois Valleés is easily the most stylish winter wonderland and, as Europe’s largest ski resort, is synonymous with the very best skiing on the continent. This is where Europeans come for weekend ski getaways. It is the most fashionable and has some of the most sophisticated villages offering the very best in cuisine, shopping and nightlife. Those found strolling along the streets of St. Tropez in the summer season will ply their skills on the slopes of Les Trois Valleés during the winter months. This region has one of the best records for consistent, quality snow year after year, and provides a huge range of choice with nearly 400 miles of piste and limitless off-piste. With one of the very best ski lift systems anywhere, all levels of skier can ski Les Trois Valleés in a day without ever removing their skis.

One of the newest resorts in The Three Valleys, La Tania is located in the Courchevel valley at an altitude of 4,429 feet, with the season running from early December until late April. The local skiing is within the Courchevel Valley, which has 93 miles of piste, a quarter of The Three Valley’s total. Access into this vast domain is also relatively queue free due to the low number of chalets and guest houses. In the evenings it can get very lively at one of the few bars in La Tania, namely Le Ski Lodge, Taiga Bar or the Telemark Bistro Bar with regular live bands and an intimate buzzing atmosphere. There is also a complimentary bus service to Courchevel during the day if you feel like exploring the shops or visiting new restaurants.
